We were surrounded by ocean and were surprised to find that on sunny days the water looked like Caribbean turquoise.

Beyond the rocks that I was standing on were luminescent jellyfish in the water.

The sun didn't set while we were there, but it did go behind a mountain for a few hours in the middle of the night. The long days were wonderful for painting.
